We are a volunteer based science mentorship program where high school students (mentors) meet elementary students (mentees) in a virtual setting and tutor young learners various scientific topics.

As a science mentors, this is our way of sharing our knowledge with the community and hope to seed the love for science in the minds of our young mentees.

Our Mission
We are a team of high school students with a passion to teach science to young elementary students. Research have shown that early exposure to science helps with not only basis for future scientific understanding, but also with the overall learning attitude in decades to come.

At Sciencemates, we recognize the need to learn science from an early age and try to fill that gap. Our science mentors are paired up with elementary students in a virtual setting and strive to help students reach their highest potentials and ultimately excellence.

Our History
Our journey started off locally in the east coast of the United States in the year 2020. The lack of science enrichment programs for elementary school students led to the founding of Sciencemates in early 2021.
​
In Spring of 2021, our local mentorship program started to grow both locally and internationally to other countries including Australia, Russia, Taiwan, Singapore and India.
​
We now have science mentors from east and west coast locations in the United States as well as international volunteers!
